A Day Game Drive In Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park : This is the place Ernest Hemingway described as “The Loveliest I Had Seen In Africa”;
This small park enjoys a spectacular setting spanning the Rift Valley escarpment. Famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephant, buffalo and migratory flamingos, this park offers a diverse wildlife experience within a relatively small area. The varied landscape is also home to an incredible array of birdlife, but it is the scenic beauty of Lake Manyara that makes it one of Tanzania’s most popular parks.
Day 1: Arusha/Moshi town to Lake Manyara National Park
7AM : Breakfast At Your Hotel / Arusha Or Moshi Town :
8:00 AM: Briefing & Depart From Your Hotel / Arusha Or Moshi Town :
8:15 AM: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park :
After your early breakfast, representative and professional driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel or lodge. You will depart from Arusha/Moshi town at approximately 9O’clock. You will embark on your drive from Arusha/Moshi town to Lake Manyara National Park.
11AM – 2PM: Enjoy Your Game Drive & Have A Picnic Inside The Park.
Lake Manyara National Park is a place of scenic beauty situated at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Approximately 330 square km (127 Square miles of which 77 square miles) is the Lake and located in the Northern Circuit. From the entrance gate, you will drive through winding roads into Park’s dense forest like landscape, filled with Acacia woodlands. The Park naturally derives its name from the vast alkaline or Soda-ash Lake, which can be spotted in shimmering spectacular. During your game drive, you will sight several troops of baboon relaxing by the roadside. Further into your excursion a variety of wildlife will emerge including enormous elephants, graceful giraffes, zebras, bushbucks, dik-dik, wildebeest, buffalos, mongoose, klipspringer and several birdlife. The Park is quite rich in birdlife with approximately 400 species. Along the lake you will view the pink-horned flamingos and other water birds like storks, pelicans and cormorants. Lake Manyara National Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lion, which you may see, particularly in the early mornings. And if you are lucky to view a pride of lions lounging in a tree, it can be an extraordinary exhibition.

4PM - 5:30 : Return To Arusha Town / 4PM - 6:30PM To Moshi Town
After your afternoon game drive, you will embark on the drive back to Arusha/Moshi Town. You will be dropped off at your hotel and this will be the end of our safari services.
